first live performance was at the El Rio, San Franciso,
during the Sex Workers Film Festival. This appearance

| Shortly after hitting the ground,
Lipstick Conspiracy was obvserved making several attempts
to subvert local government. They cast their support for
Tom Ammiano, and then Matt Gonzalez during the nail-biting
San Francisco Mayoral race of 2003. Their efforts did
not go unnoticed. |
|
| Throughout the remainder of 2003,
Lipstick Conspiracy continued to cut their teeth in a
variety of locations and locales endemic of their character
and convictions: Dragonfly in Hollywood, Burning Man Decompression,
Venue 9 Benefits, and so forth. Their political and social
crusades had merged. By the end of 2003, a loyal following
had been established, documented, and analyzed. |

| 2004 witnessed the true rise
for this band. Their newsletter, The
Informant, by now was
running full force, which further incriminated them and
their conspirators: TGSF; SFTEAM; Camp Trans, Femina Potens,
and the folks at KARMA, Wicked Messenger, and Gender Pirates
at the El Rio; and confirmed what many in the Intel community
consider to be one of the most lucrative alliances in
the Bay Area: Lipstick Conspiracy joined forces with the
Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. |
